Welcome home RON!!!! We are glad you made it home safely. I am proud of you Grace for making it. It is a VERY LONG 14 MONTHS!!! I know! I am glad you are all together again.
P.S. If Ron is like Neil, he couldn't keep his eyes open, he was so tired. Enjoy the three day long nap Ron. It is well deserved.

Finally! Phew, what a relief to have him home already! Shane and I are both so excited that your family is reunited. We were talking tonight about how happy we are that Ron is home - and we don't even get to see him! I'm way impressed with how good you look in the photos, I thought for sure your face would be all red and blotchy from crying. YAY RON IS HOME! Make sure you tell him we're glad he's back safe and sound.

Seriously Grace, I don't know how you lasted that long without Ron. I freak out if Adam is gone for a week on business...I have decided that is very wimpy of me and will not fret next time he leaves. You are an inspiration and I am so glad that your hubby dutifully served our country and is home now! I read your blog regularly and was very relieved to see that he actually came home and wasn't delayed again. Have fun now that your family is together again!

hi crowthers! sorry grace, you don't know me, but i grew up with ron in the groveton ward in virginia. our mutual friend laura lee pointed me in your blog direction. it's fun to see ron grown up with a darling family!

i have to say, this is quite the post to get "caught up" on what's he (you guys) have been up to for the past while. i was definitely teary-eyed seeing those photos of his homecoming, the soldiers are definitely not the only heroes. i have such a respect for military wives (my mom is one!) because i know how hard it is to have your dad gone for a long time. although, my dad was never at war and i think four months was his longest time at sea.

anyway, you have a beautiful family and good job on doing such a great job with your kids during the toughest of times. god bless you all! - if you're ok with it, i will check in from time to time. i love technology! it's been such a blessing to reconnect with friends of old...my blog is wendethemom.blogspot.com by the way.

sorry for the marathon long comment - thanks for sharing these awesome photos with everyone. you are ALL heroes!
