Veterans Day

On the actual Veterans Day we celebrated Tessa's birthday.  But on Saturday we went to the Veterans Day Parade.  Emma walked in the parade with her Girl Scout Troop.  It was a fun parade, and we got more candy then we did on Halloween!  I think everyone was trying to get rid of their left over Halloween candy - and we benefited.

Tessa is a total ham waiting for the parade to start.  We had an hour to kill before it started,so we got donuts and chocolate milk.

The Fort Knox Army Band was awesome.  There are several Jr. ROTC companies from the local High Schools, and they looked fantastic marching in their uniforms.

Emma loved throwing the candy to the crowd.

We had a great time.
