Ron started his renovations/demolition of the house. The walls are all plaster and nasty, so he wanted to tear them all down and put up drywall. In the process he would replace the old electrical, add more outlets (they were few and far between) and remodel BOTH (yes both) bathrooms. So needless to say it is a very messy and dirty job to tear down all of the walls and ceiling in the down stairs, so the kids and I were banished to a hotel for a week. We are 3 days into our stay and the mystique of staying in a hotel is slowly wearing off. Today could be the ultimate test - school was canceled!! So now I am stuck in a hotel room with 5 kids (I think the 2 year old should count as 2 kids because of all the extra work she requires to keep happy) and I may very well LOOSE MY MIND!!! I needed those school hours to recharge my SANITY batteries!! I realize that a cyber scream doesn't have the full effect that a real scream does, but here is my cyber scream anyway - AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I am taking the 3 older kids to see a movie this afternoon - that is if the weather cooperates, but I just might loose my mind before then. If you never read another post from me you will know that my mind did not survive this week :-( :-(

Wow, I would be going out of my mind too! That is a HUGE undertaking for Ron, but I'm sure it will be so beautiful when it is all done. Is he tearing down the walls downstairs or upstairs or both? Sorry to hear that you are having yucky weather, y'all should come visit us, sunny and 60's today! If you want to vent some more give me a call. Hang in there.
that bites!! i hate snow days especially right after a long Christmas break. that should not be allowed. take it an hour at a time!! I even have to do that when it is just me and Gracie!!lol.

I hope you are enjoying your trip at your brother's. Definitely a step up from the hotel. :-)
